29 November – Kennedys / berg event (Manchester)
On 1 September 2017, Kennedys merged with one of Manchester's most respected law firms, berg. The combination of the strengths of berg's commercial practice with Kennedys' global business is exciting for both existing and new clients. Carter Corson will be celebrating with the team at The Refinery, Spinningfields.
30 November – Honest Talks with Fourth Day PR (London)
The team at Fourth day PR have launched a series of events called Honest Talks – taking interesting topics and bringing a panel of speakers together. The first one, in Manchester, looked at gender diversity in the business community and how we can challenge our bias to create more inclusive events and workplaces. The next event will take place in London at the end of November.
5 December 2017 – Disrupt HR London
DisruptHR is built on the belief that how we’ve approached people and talent in the past won’t be the best way to approach them in the future. DisruptHR is founded on the idea that ALL business leaders (and that includes you, HR!) need to be ready to take some risks, to stir the pot…in short, to DISRUPT.
7 December – Lancashire Law School breakfast
As part of its series of breakfast seminars for the local business community, UCLan’s law school will host our own Sara Duxbury from Carter Corson Business Psychologists, who will lift the lid on developing your resilience – through a deeper understanding of yourself, your values, and your stress triggers. By taking time to reflect on what makes you tick, and how this links to the job you do, you will find ways to become more resilient during times of stress and pressure. The session will give you time out to think and give you practical tools to apply as you develop the best version of yourself. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
