Team Purple: Sarah Chambers

Sarah is our administration and customer service star, managing the project support team and the office. She joined the business in 2014 from a client, after experiencing how Carter Corson works with organisations and their people

If you could host a talk show, who would be your first guest? President Obama. I'd ask what it was like to be the first black president in America. Does he feel he's made a difference during his time in office and made the country a better place? Would he have liked to have carried on if possible? What impact did it have on his family?

What do you enjoy doing to relieve stress? Reading books. I love a good fiction novel and can regularly be found on the sofa or in the garden with my iPad. I still remember taking seven books in my suitcase on holiday; I was the one who'd rather take books than shoes!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? New York City. I love the hustle and bustle; enjoy the difference between winter and summer, in the way the city looked and felt, and the fact you are near water but also in a major city. The people are so friendly and helpful, the cultural differences are amazing and the food options are fabulous - no two days are the same. I can’t wait to visit again.

Facebook or Twitter? Facebook. I like keeping in touch with family and friends (but also because I only really use Twitter for liking and retweeting).

What's your current screensaver picture? Currently it's a large facial image of my cat, Babs. It always make me smile every time I see it; she is a big part of our family and I wouldn’t be without her.

Are you an early bird or a night owl? An early bird – I like to be in bed for 9.30pm and get eight hours sleep; if I don’t, I can be a nightmare the following day, and very grumpy.

What's my signature dish? A roast dinner, which is very traditional in our house. I like to think I'm not too bad a cook, but I love eating at my mum's house; her cooking is the best.
